Pen Argyl L1 0-21
Pen Argyl's Woody Petchel runs for 207 yards, increasing his career total to a state-record 4,342, and scores two touchdowns in a 21-0 win at Parkland that clinches the school's first Lehigh-Northampton League title in 10 years. The game is also delayed by a fourth-quarter fire that destroys the Parkland press box and forces fans to briefly take refuge on the field. Petchel breaks the previous record of 4,135 held by Mount Carmel's Greg Diminick.
